today, Friday 2/20 5-7pm, Fresno, vigil for 3 Muslims killed in Chapel Hill, NC
Today (Friday) the Palestine Freedom Project and Peace Fresno
will hold a vigil from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at the corner of North Blackstone and Nees Avenues at River Park
to mourn the three young Muslims who were murdered in Chapel Hill, NC. Such a vigil speaks not only to the tragedy, but calls attention to the increasing prejudice in the U.S. and Europe against Muslims, Arabs, and other Middle Eastern people. It is time to recognize and oppose this trend. By attending the vigil we publicly stand with these and other victims of that prejudice. We invite you to join us.
