I stayed up late to watch the lunar eclipse. Anyone else?

It was beautiful.
I wish I had a camera that could take good pictures of lunar events but i don't.
Thank goodness we have the internet for everyone else's great pictures.

1. woke up early to try to catch it. there's a downside to living in a forest.

2. I got up early to watch. Cloudless here. Very cool.

3. I managed to catch the last faint stain of penumbra on the surface

before I stumbled back to bed. Too late on the left coast to see the true blood moon.

4. I didn't stay up...I got up just before the best of totality happened.

It was chilly out, and clear. We had a good view of the moon.

It was tiny but lovely.

5. I watched it early this morning. We had clouds in and out, but I got to see most of it before they

completely blotted it out. Pretty cool. My kitty couldn't understand why I would go outside at that time of the morning.
