We have been hard at work since last year and there are now only six weeks until Election Day.
Mail-in ballots will be available in just a couple of weeks.
We already know that my opponent, Darrell Issa, will spend whatever it takes to hold on to his seat in Congress.

That's why we need your help now.
Your financial support will assist us in getting our positive message of job creation, economic growth and affordable education to voters in these next six crucial weeks.
We wont be able to win this election without the support of people like you. To show how important it is that we work together as a community, we will publish on our website the names of all those individuals who give to the campaign this week and how much they gave along with a big thank you message from the campaign. Dont worry, only those who donate will be given the password to see those names. That way you can know who in your area is working to oust Issa and deserves special recognition!
Please, click here to help us get the word out by contributing whatever amount you can afford.

(9,298 posts)Issa's FEC report is at the above link.
In April 2013 he had $1,749,490 on hand.
In July 2014 he had $3,373,667 on hand.
But his expenditures in this time period total $1,456,431.
Call me a dreamer, but if he's such a shoo-in, Issa is sure spending a lot of money.
