Individuals from 27 states have contributed to Dave Peiser's campaign to defeat Issa. Directly giving to candidates has certainly helped Alan Grayson and Elizabeth Warren, and hope it works in CA's 49th, too.

3. As much as it bothers me to see out of state funds interfere in local races

a) that's the way it works currently, so at least the good guys are using it as well, b) Issa is a nation wide issue that needs to be removed, and he's gerrymandered himself a nice safe district, so it's gonna take a national effort to deal with the problem.
