(4,458 posts)I tried for about 5 years to "question/talk" about my concerns to No avail...I left the Dem Party...a few weeks ago, I reregistered for Sen Merkley/Primaries...Then got involved in my local party--I am a Delegate now. That's how we change the right-wing drift....
I called the DNC the other day--got to explain my complaint - 60 secs--and was promptly hung up on in mid-sentence. I can't wait for the next call asking me for money
This November we gotta vet--to cull the Corp Dems out of the Herd, imo.

(9,126 posts)It seems as though the tech industry has gotten together and is now throwing its weight around. And California Democrats cow towed. Much like the film industry in So Cal, they're the big players so we must protect their massive profits at all costs. Because "jobs" (and don't mention the war! ... I mean outsourcing...because "skills"
They wish to be like big oil and other highly favored industries. It's not enough to yuck it up with the president and other glitterati, be richer than Croesus, and have flowers strewn before you wherever you walk amid shouts of "Genius!" No, now they're suffering each other's brilliant auras of superhuman intelligence and awesomeness in order to collude to pump as much money as possible. Because everyone knows the free market corrects itself, but you have to help it along, you know *wink*.
