San Diego to legally enforce new public health orders over coronavirus

San Diego's Board of Supervisors announced 11 legally enforceable health orders to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The new orders go into effect at 12 a.m. Tuesday.

"It is not a request, it is not a suggestion. It is a legal order," Supervisor Nathan Fletcher told reporters Monday.

Three of the new public health orders were described, however, as strong recommendations by County Public Health Officer Wilma Wooten.

SD is still practicing social distancing and has yet to announce any shelter in place measures, but that could come at any moment. My house looks out over the little downtown area of the city I live in, and it still appears as "business as usual" with the amount of traffic on the roads.

My sources who are in law enforcement here and getting info we aren’t indicated it will be statewide soon.

And if they say 2-3 weeks - prepare for a month

I have the same thoughts as you do, and I'm preparing for longer than a month.
