And the repukes can't stops us by holding their breath until they turn purple and screaming "No!"!

This is assuming two key Assembly races hold up: Salas in District 32 (Kings, Kern) by 300 votes, and Sharon Quirk-Silva in District 65 (Teh OC) by 1,000.

Millionaires and billionaires, we are coming for your ass. You raped us for decades, now that we got YOU in the leather harness, get ready for some revenge.

1. The new legislature should start one Day One by eliminating Proposition 13, and increasing property tax rates to fair numbers.

2. We must consider changing the Constitution at the legislative level as EARLY as possible. Now that we have our supermajority, we can bypass the initiative process and create a living, breathing Constitution that is based on international justice, not that based upon a centuries-old, white males-only document, particularly with regard to economic, social, and environmental justice. Once this occurs, we will have the foundation for providing a blueprint for the rest of the United States to follow, and to ensure that the rich in our country do not, EVER, become richer than they deserve.

3. We MUST FAST-TRACK legislation that HEAVILY PENALIZES any existing business from relocating out of state. We must make it not worth their while to do so. This includes making sure our legal representatives prevent the business traitors from corporate malfeasance or manipulation. This will be the BIGGEST THREAT in the coming months. I don't know if retro-activity will work in the courts, but I would go so far as to backtrack any company's exodus from California and to tax it.

This is a start. There is plenty more that can, and will be done. Ultimately, this is the elimination of all republicanist/capitalist policies.

a GOP super majority next election. Better to remove commercial properties from coverage and get the banks and leave seniors alone..Don't even think about raising residential taxes, it's suicide.

I take offense of your opening paragraph:

"Millionaires and billionaires, we are coming for your ass. You raped us for decades, now that we got YOU in the leather harness, get ready for some revenge."

I am fortunate to have been successful in business but I am a dedicated, long-term, loyal Democrat.

You get more with honey than vinegar.

Painting everyone in a group in the same way is bigotry and makes us no better than the racist Neanderthals.

The poster that offended you probably isn't in the government policy field but since he didn't address the post to you in particular it seems hard to understand why you would be offended.

Since a very small slice of these United States is populated by millionaires and billionaires it would be hard painting such small minority at any rate. As for some people expressing their anger because they see the thumb that's pushed them down for so long being pushed away that expression of anger should be expected.

Us poorer people don't need anybodies wealth so much but we will need help in stopping ours from being shipped off our borders and some people that hoarding cash to spend some of it. It will only take a small amount to get the wheels greased up again and we should be on our way.
