Here's a great website for my neck of california
http://resilience.abag.ca.gov/earthquakes/I'n not sure if all the pages I used to look at are still there
but it used to have earthquake scenario simulator...
and where faults have been detected and whether our home with be under water in a big earthquake
I haven't looked for the same information for other parts of california (I used this when we were home shopping)...but I think its a good resource
