CA fire started by a car's flat tire's sparks on the road.

The Carr fire, currently burning near Redding and the 6th largest CA wildfire, was started by sparks on the road from a car that was being driven on a flat tire, CNN just reported.

When conditions are right, just about anything can start a fire. The two biggest fires in San Diego were started by electric lines near trees that weren't trimmed and by a person who was lost and started a signal fire. Lightening strikes are also a common cause. I get nervous when I smell any smoke outside during the past 10 years since I live in CA. I no longer have an emergency kit ready for earthquakes, but for fires too.
