It looks like a housing bubble to me

Lots of new home tracts going up here in SoCal.
It reminds me of the mid 2000's.

And we all know what happened in 2008.

Our apparaised value is almost what was in 2006. And that was outrageous -- it almost doubled from 2001 to 2006. I wish had the courage to sell NOW and rent for a while ...

...are higher now than they were at the peak of the 2007 bubble. Homes that appraised and sold at $480,000 in 2007 are appraising and selling now at $550,000. Not similar houses, or same sized houses, the exact same houses, which are eight years older now than they were then.
