Just wanted to share this awesome image from the SFGate today, of the Wragg fire:

It's a great/scary picture, and I'm glad she got her horses moved to safety (although I particularly like how ~half the horses are like "Hold on, I'm gonna grab another mouthful here. What fire?" )

2. I'm on the other side and far enough away to be safe but...

I have three friends that live up there and they all were experiencing tight sphincters. Only one had to be evacuated and was just allowed to return today. She bolted with just the essentials: a handful of old family photos, the pets, and her computer hard drive backup. I understand, in true Rain Man fashion, she had to hit Kmart for underwear.

One is in Riverside, the other is up there. C-130s from the Guard coming soon am afraid.

Scary fire indeed.

Somebody has a four by four vehicle as well. Jesus I am going to hate the hikes tomorrow...
