Finally! A place for the cat people of San Francisco to come and hang out with their favorite species. Brace yourself.
We are just days away from the grand opening of KitTea, San Franciscos very first feline-friendly tea lounge. Making its opening debut on June 8th, 2015, in Hayes Valley at 96 Gough St, this place is a cat-lovers dream a place where you can enjoy a modern-day tea party as a guest of a dozen feline friends....
The human side acts as a tea lounge that offers a variety of Japanese Tea blends and delicious baked goods, like macaroons, cookies and quiches courtesy of Native Baking. Cats are not allowed beyond the cat lounge for hygienic reasons, but guests are welcome to take their tea and treats into the lounge to enjoy alongside their new friends.
The cat lounge is exactly that a lounge. There are seating areas for humans and cats alike, and the space is also equipped with plenty of cat-friendly attractions, including day beds, kitty-climbing shelves and plenty of toys to make the most out of your playdate.
