2. I have almost 10 miles of track that curves through the ranch (state land lease)

I can see the fun of chasing good photos. I bet there will be a few folks out trying. Will have to check gates after it goes by. We will meet some friends for a hobo picnic and watch it climb 3 mile hill east of Benson AZ. Might get a second shot of it in Willcox since there is a wine festival going on same day and I wouldn't mind checking that out too.

7. goes by pretty fast, even up hill

(especially with that diesel helping) there were 3 aircraft accompanying the train, the 4 images were a total of about 30 - 45 seconds LOL

oh well we had fun and caught up with some old friends.

10. nah, we sat and caught up with friends

and watched the regular trains go by. good spot to see all the curves you don't realize are there. LOL

a man and woman walked by where we were spread out and chatted with us for a few minutes, turns out she lived in the section gang town (or whatever the term I could never find is) when she was a young girl! that was kind of exciting. she remembered it being there until the early 60s, I had in my brain it was long gone by then. my Mother remembered going down there as a kid with my Grandpa for some reason and playing with the kids. don't think it was this woman, though. anyway I have known about a well there where we were sitting, but she said there was an ice house too! that was new to me.
