Meghan McCain tells off outlet that said she compared bomb threats to restaurant heckling

Meghan McCain fought back Wednesday against a news outlet that claimed she compared the bombs targeting Democrats with Republicans getting shouted at in restaurants.

The FBI said suspicious packages containing crude pipe bombs targeting Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, CNN and other Democrats were intercepted by the organization Tuesday night and Wednesday.

The article by Raw Story, a left-leaning website, claims McCain made the comparison on Wednesday's episode of "The View," where McCain is a commentator.

"Federal authorities are investigating a string of suspicious packages sent to prominent Democrats and CNN, and 'The View' co-host said those threats were similar to heckling faced by Republican lawmakers and Trump administration officials in public," Raw Story wrote.
