Arizona man convicted for threatening to kill Nancy Pelosi

PHOENIX (KVOA) - A Mohave County man was convicted Thursday for allegedly threatening to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi back in January.

According to release shared by the U.S. Attorney's Office, 77-year-old Steven Arthur Martis was arrested after he allegedly called Pelosi's office in Washington D.C. from his residence in Bulkhead City and left two threatening voicemail messages.

In the first message, Martis reportedly told Pelosi "I'm going to kill you." In the second voicemail, Martis said "You're Dead."

Officials say agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation warned Martis about making similar calls prior to leaving the two threatening messages.

Now will somebody please go after all those despicable deplorables who have been threatening the lives of election authorities, school board members, etc., all over the country? It's a freaking epidemic...no, a pandemic, and it needs to stop!
