I'm pretty sure I'll die with the remote in my hand!

My wife and I were watching the Sunday episode of "The Walking Dead" - which was epic - and at 48 minutes into the show, we lost the cable signal for just AMC and a few premiere sub-channels! We stared at a frozen screen for 15 minutes, and then called our 'service provider.' Their recorded message was "We are working on a problem based on a high volume of calls from your service area!" Oh - I hear ya!!!

So we waited and waited, and a couple hours later, well after my bedtime and nodding off repeatedy, we got service back for the show. So we reprogrammed the DVR for the three AMC shows, "The Walking Dead," "Talking Dead," and the very cool "Into the Badlands," and then we tossed and turned all night getting what sleep we could waiting for that last ten minutes in the morning!

Cut the cable? Give up TV? Get a life?

Maybe after this one show is done...maybe after the next election cycle...maybe after the next year of college football (Roll Tide!)...

And then, here comes another remarkable year of television!

"When they pry that remote out of my cold, dead hand."

have such a wealth of good TV from all over the world that I don't have time to watch it. I've seen great shows from England, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Scandinavia, and Italy.
