scriptwriters / directors do a better job of reminding us of key plot developments as the series unfolds. It's almost impossible to track/recall such nuance over eight weeks. I thought it was me, but judging by comments here and elsewhere a lot of people had the same issues. It's not hard to do -- just include a few key words here and there.

Unless one binge watches, of course ...
