I splurged and bought The Carol Burnett Show Collectors Edition...

I'm really enjoying it. When I watched as a kid, I never cared for the musical numbers at the end, but now I'm enjoying them...I think now I can appreciate how clever they were done. I think I've seen all of The Family skits, but I could watch them over and over and over...ah Carol, there'll never be another like you.

for my birthday! I love it. I can watch it over and over, just put some time between watches and you just laugh all over again. I doesn't seem to matter that you know what is coming, it sometimes seems to make it better. What a team. LOVE it.

As a long-time Barbie doll collector, I have been trying for years to learn which episode/airdate it was that had the episode about Barbie, Ken, GI Joe and Betsy Wetsy. Is this included in the DVD set? Do the liner notes include the date and guest stars?

Original air date of March 24, 1973...one of their "family shows" so no guest stars...Carol was Barbary, Harvey was Ben, Lyle was GI Jim, and Vicki was Betsy Wetsy (although her name was a slight variation of that).

You may want to read it -- there's lots of details on the show.
