Major epic battle! This show will go down in history as a classic. I heard rumors that Benjin Start was going to appear.... Could he of been the man in the boat with Jon and the Crows who was shrouded, wore a hoodie? The boat was departing and we were all freaked out watching the giant and the White Walker King..I went back and looked but didn't see a face.

That stare down between Jon and the Night King was frightening.

that if you take enough key personnel and flay them and put them up on posts for all to see, you will get a pretty good chunk of people that will say "Fuck this; I'm out." Plus, as he alluded to, that also lets the rest of the North know that they need to put away any thoughts of rebellion.

They need another big death.

My guess is Cersei is on trial by combat...enter the Mountain..,.but do viewers really care if .Cersei lives or dies at this point?

Just don't kill Jon or the Imp.

I don't see him dying anytime soon. I think the Mountain will be a shocking character to be seen by episode 10....I'm clueless as to what he will be...Westros Frankenstein. Cersei has been on my list ever since she demanded Lady be killed. Lady was Sansa's direwolf.

Trial by combat Tommen has to choose to spare his mother or his wife. He chooses his wife.

Just a prediction.

But there is one high profile death, or at the very least probable death in a Julius Caesar sort of attack, of a major character to go if they follow that arc. And in the books they built up a possible path for (sort of) survival/resurrection but that is missing on TV too.

Personally, ever since Stannis unleashed his inner grammar nazi, a wonderful TV-only flash of personality for a famously grim and taciturn character, I'm rooting for him, but he's likely not cute enough to be the TV image-centric winner, which seems to be setting up a Jon-Danaerys collision course where he (and this is conspiracy theory stuff even for the book readers, but the clues are there) finds out he's really a Targaeryen bastard not a Stark bastard

I believe they were married too....Is Jon the Promised Prince?

I even speculate that the 3 dragon riders will be Danaerys, Tyrion and John....

Shire, Stannis's daughter was cured of greyscales....Jorah now has them.....maybe this was brought into the storyline as a lead in to Jorah not dying this season of greyscales....That said, he appears to want to go out with a hero battle kind of death for his Queen.

15. Questions

Jun 2015

Is Arya's "needle" Valyrian steel?

Is Danaerys capable of mothering more dragons if she walks into fire?

I just read an interesting article that says don't think about the theme as a "Game of Thrones"
Martin's theme for the whole series is "a Song of Ice and Fire"

We should be taking careful note of what Sam is learning from reading the history of how survival happened in ancient times.

I don't think it is, but I could be wrong. Jon gave it to her, so it could be.

She would need the eggs. She went into the fire with the eggs and they hatched in the fire.

I've always seen the "Game" and the overarching plot arc. Kind of like what Danaerys calls the wheel in the last episode.

I love Sam and I think you are right.
