Survivor - does colton even have blood? Episode 3 Recap - No Spoilers about future episodes

Wow, Colton is simply the worst player in survivor history. Why they even asked him back, I will never understand. I was glad Probst called him on quitting the first time, because I thought he did and then was not sure about his "illness." I am glad ot see he is gone. The newbies played yet another terrible choice and it is killing their tribe. Plus we get to watch an episode of third Wheel as the married Candace and John live on redemption island with Marissa. Never vote off strong members early unless they are a Hantz (then get them out week one). The decision to vote out Rachel and Marissa is clearly a bad call as the two skinny girls with no muscle cost them a win this week in the IC, anyway, on to discuss the episode.

first the first time ever, I LIKED redemtion island. Okay, so it was only because Colton quit and left the game, showing what a loser he is. Before we get to RI, we see him complaining that no one will talk strategy with him and no one will let him work his insanity and bedlam games. He is frustrated because the is the only card he has in his deck. So he gets to RI feeling really badly. Then when they arrive, Tyson is pissed that Rachel was voted off, but he says it was a smart move. Rachel outs Brad for calling the shots and being in charge of a guys alliance. Tyson asks her if she wants him to step into her spot and she says no. They start to go again at Brad for making bad calls and voting off the strongest female players to which he responds, "I'm just playin' Survivor, babe." then the best line of the season comes from Marissa "FUCK YOU BRAD CULPEPPER!" I love this girl. Sad she is probably going home soon.

So at least this was somewhat interesting, but then RI went form maybe not the worst RI ever, to the BEST RI ever. Colton starts crying. Why. No one has said a word to him. Colton says he does not want to play this game anymore. Jeff straight up calls Colton out on quitting the last game by faking his appendix issues. Colton says he was treated for a bacterial infection, but says he did not quit last time, but he is quitting now. Jeff basically asks why and his team mates say it is because he can not get his way. What a loser. Jeff and Tina make it clear he is the guy who quits when everything isn't going his way. He goes to sit on his fiance's lap and cry and finally quits. Probst won;t even let him burn his buff in the torch.

Jeff is awesome. He tells him that there are some people who are meant to live adventures, and there are some people who are meant to sit on their couch and watch, Colton is the latter. He calls him a selfish child and shows him the door. Love it Probst. this was almost as fun as Heidi and Jenna stripping for peanut butter.

After all this, we still have to see the duel. It was a good one with building a domino puzzel course on inclined platforms. Candice rocks it and gives another clue to John for the idol, who is according to my wife, cute, but dumb as can be. Rachel and Marissa are close and both are exhausted. Marissa finally wins a close match. Bye Bye Rachel. Tysen gets the hugging cry moment and we move on.

John makes a stupid decision and shares his hidden immunity clue with Brad. Why, Brad is about as untrustworthy as anyone ever on the game. Why he picked him, I do not know. Regardless, he still can not find the idol.

The IC was fun. It was all about strength and agility. Wow, the newbies seem to have an advantage here, or at least had one until they voted off the strongest and most athletic women. Wonder if this will come back to haunt them. Katie gets tossed by Laura. Ciera gets tossed by Kat without any effort. Aras and Vytas do a civil war duel and Aras wins. Hayden is paired up against Tyson, but tyson pops out his shoulder and loses. So the newbies lose because the two girls they kept, got swept. Wow, maybe there was something to Marissa and Rachel's attacks at RI.

So the guys talk it over and make the right call that one of these weak women should finally go and they choose Ciera because she is clearly weaker, but they say it is so Katie can cook for them. Love this cave man thing. But once John walks away, Brad turns on the strongest physical member of his tribe other than him, and says lets vote off John. They play up that it might be Brad, but its clearly not. They vote out John, who surprises his wife at RI.

I am pulling for Marissa to outlive the married couple on RI. I like Marissa and hope she gets back into the game. Though Candace has been a warrior on RI, she has to lose eventually. I wonder if John will throw it so she can win if Marissa beats them both to secure first. I see Marissa and Candance beating John in anything involving agility, but as strength goes, Marissa is at the bottom of these three.

I think Hayden made a GREAT move this week in dropping Brad as a problem, but then getting the girls on board with droppign John. He may have just taken over the tribe. If someone has to go now, it has to be Brad. I think he can get the two girls to go along with him and Vytas, and Caleb would be a fool to stick around with the insane Brad. I think Brad dug his own grave this episode. I say he is the next newbie to go. I also think that it might play to Hayden and Vytas to get to a merge with them being on the side of Katie and Cierra, because the mom's are going to stay with their girls and this has the makings of a good group of 8 come merge time, with Kat and Aras in the mix. but Aras is too good to keep around long after the merge. The newbies need to win two ICs though. The returning players will have to cut Laura (Mrs. rupert) if they ever lose. And eventually they have to lose. Kat would also be up for consideration. I love Kat, but she brings next to nothing to this game. Still, if she is there when Hayden gets there, she will be a huge player in this season. Lets see how this plays out.

I won't even let you put your buff in the fire because that is an honor for those that have competed.

Newbies will NEVER win a challenge now that they have voted off 3 strong players. I'm guessing we will have to see a tribe reorganization in a couple weeks at this rate.

They like to mix up so that not all the ICs are strength based. If there is a tough puzzel, they can win one.
