The Killing is so F'ing good..... Season 3 off with a bang.

The writing, acting, cinematography, everything about the show is so amazing.

Last nights season premiere has the show off and running....

1. Do you know if this is "new" writing or are they following another script from the Euro version?

I know the first season was a fairly straightforward translation with a location change--did they do a 2nd season in Europe or are we on our own?

It's a great show. My bones ache when I watch it, though--all that damn rain!

Most of the show was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia,
which has plenty of rain, admittedly.
I kinda liked the show because of the rain, nostalgia and all that now I moved to a sunnier climate.

4. I prefer sunshine, but I live in New England, where ya sneeze and the weather changes.

Woke up to fog and rain, now the sun is out. Go figure!

I'm curious as to if this is a new script or if the original version had a 2nd season and they copied from them again....

3. We lost power and I was annoyed but

after the power came back on I set the DVR to record it at a later time. Thank goodness they repeat!

I don't usually care for shows like this but was hooked last time. I'm ready to see what they do next.

5. We watched it three times last night...do not want to miss a bit...

We are loving Season 3....and the actor named Sarsgaard is brilliant.

6. Think I'll get the Euro version---at least it will have subtitles.

I gave up after the first 45 minutes last night---I have a great TV and sound system, but I still couldn't follow the mumbled dialogue. You guys press on without me and enjoy the new season, I'm going to see what's on TCM......

7. check out Netflix, which subtitles for the series.

Due to all our humidity changes, I have a hard time hearing low register sounds, and often use sub-titles to get thru even English films, when I can.

That right there tells you he didn't kill his wife.

12. Seward is very manipulative and quick with it...he could have been playing Linden...

yet, certainly more young street girls are being killed now in a similar way.

We've already seen some other nasty guys, besides Seward..but I don't think
the girls, we saw, were getting into the same car each time.

I knew it was one of those two after the first episode. It became obvious Becker didn't have the stomach for it.

17. We sometimes forget how vulnerable Det. Linden is...She could have very easily been a Street Kid....

...her life growing up in foster care and virtually abandoned as a child, that stays with you...

Skinner is a whole other thing...psychotic asshole.
