(135,425 posts)I know the first season was a fairly straightforward translation with a location change--did they do a 2nd season in Europe or are we on our own?
It's a great show. My bones ache when I watch it, though--all that damn rain!

Most of the show was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia,
which has plenty of rain, admittedly.
I kinda liked the show because of the rain, nostalgia and all that now I moved to a sunnier climate.
VERY good acting, indeed.

(135,425 posts)Woke up to fog and rain, now the sun is out. Go figure!
I'm curious as to if this is a new script or if the original version had a 2nd season and they copied from them again....
I guess the answer to my question is kinda yes, kinda no:

I don't usually care for shows like this but was hooked last time. I'm ready to see what they do next.

(28,273 posts)I gave up after the first 45 minutes last night---I have a great TV and sound system, but I still couldn't follow the mumbled dialogue. You guys press on without me and enjoy the new season, I'm going to see what's on TCM......

(60,010 posts)Due to all our humidity changes, I have a hard time hearing low register sounds, and often use sub-titles to get thru even English films, when I can.

(994 posts)Anyone else think maybe Seward didn't kill his wife?
I don't like Becker or that guy that was Linden's previous partner...

That right there tells you he didn't kill his wife.

(14,559 posts)yet, certainly more young street girls are being killed now in a similar way.
We've already seen some other nasty guys, besides Seward..but I don't think
the girls, we saw, were getting into the same car each time.

(994 posts)I knew it was one of those two after the first episode. It became obvious Becker didn't have the stomach for it.
