Wouldn't it be great if the Beekman Boys actually won it?

(13,933 posts)But they are just not good racers. I like a good underdog story, but there's a limit to how much dumb luck and lackadaisical attitude I can cheer for.
Now I'm rooting for the Chipendales (especially the blond one who is adorable).

(52,165 posts)In Barcelona they kicked ass beating the twins at both roadblocks. They also killed in Moscow with the time zone test and the party. Yes it was a strange decision to not compete with the team they were stuck with but it turned out pretty well for them. It was a dumb decision to take that flight but I have to say I find it damn unlucky that they couldn't get a flight from Frankfort to Moscow in under 12 hours.

In my book, that puts them ahead of most of the teams either still in the race or narrowly eliminated instead.
I hope they come in second.

(52,165 posts)especially with the reason they are playing. I think that James is an amazing guy given that he apparently is willing to give his half of the money to Jaymes' dad.

I wish Jaymes and James would or the Beekman Boys.. but I have a feeling the Texas couple will win in the end.
I never would have guessed. Admit to feeling a bit sorry for both of the runners up. One team had won the majority of the legs and the other was playing for such a great reason. But it is just great to see a team everyone had counted out actually win it.

(30,754 posts)My husband and I laughed with delight when we saw the winners.
And I was so glad those loudmouthed twinnies were nowhere near winning.

(7,099 posts)After they won I was looking at their Facebook page and it mentioned they have a show on the Cooking network about their life on the goat farm. I asked my sister to record it and look forward to checking it out. They're a great couple.
