"Downton Abbey" Getting A Prequel
"Downton Abbey" creator Julian Fellowes is reportedly writing a prequel to the acclaimed and immensely popular ITV series according to The BBC.
Fellowes said the story will deal with how the Earl and Countess of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern) first met. Fellowes revealed the news whilst speaking at the Bafta Screenwriters' Lecture series.
