Did Jimmy say he was going somewhere, maybe reinlist or something, that his mother wouldn't expect him back right away? I just don't remember. But yeah, it's weird that she doens't know where he is and nobody is saying anything.

The house for the brothel is in Jimmy's name. If he's declared dead, his assets would go to his son.

Also - if you notice various interactions on BE - the cagiest players don't admit what they know or think about a lot of things b/c they don't want to give power to others - think of her conversation with Gyp about Nucky.

Gretchen Mol is doing a great job with that character. I should hate her with every bone in my body - and she does creep me out b/c of her relationship with Jimmy. Yet, at the same time, she's a very compelling whack job.
