to appeal to me. But, yes, like Breaking Bad, it is incredibly compelling in a way that takes you by absolute surprise.

I managed to watch the premiere already. Whoah, is all I'll say. Talk about paying for one character's mistake in the very worst way possible.

but yep, what an opener! (Not going to complain about Jimmy Smit's first scene in the series, either. Yum!) Episodes 2 and 3 have already played but it'll be a couple of weeks before I can see them. (I don't have TV service and have to rely on friends in low places to get me copies of the episodes.)

Just FYI, I was watching a press conference with the SOA cast and was shocked to hear Charles Hunnam (Jax Teller) is a Brit. He's mastered the American accent.
