Emmys

Modern Family. Really? The more I have spent time over the years on DU, the less I like mindless sitcoms with canned laughter. They make me want to scream ! Shameless on Showtime is the best piece of true comedy and creativity out there.

Surprised Julienne Moore won for Game Change. I watched it for the second time yesterday. I don't think she captured her at all. Her performance, to me, was stilted and unbelievable. Just one person's opinion. Ed Harris as McCain and Woody as Schmidt were excellent...but didn't win.

She's often overlooked and a great actress.

I think Modern Family is decent, but its win is more a statement on the sad quality of sitcoms these days.
