Big Brother Week 1
I thought I would post a threat where we can talk about big brother on a weekly basis. Last night was the first episode. We met the players. The big surprise was that 4 returning houseguests from seasons past are back, but they are not players, instead they are coaches. I'd be surprised if that does not change as the summer goes on. Each Coach got to pick 3 housemates to be on their team. Whichever player wins, that player's coach gets $100,000.
The 4 returning "Coaches" are: Mike Boogie, Janelle, Dan and Britney. Their teams are as follows:
Britney:
1) Shane Meaney. My favorite so far. He is a carpenter/house flipper from Vermont.
2) Willie Hantz. The brother of Survivor's Russell Hantz. He looks like Russel and acts like him. I am going to hate him. But like his brother, he seems good at challenges.
3) JoJo Spatafora. Well, she is from Staten Island. I am also from SI, so part of me hates her for that, but that is because I have some issues. She seems like she has a mean streak, which can often be an asset in this game.
Boogie:
1) Frank Eudy. Kind of an odd duck. Don;t know much about him. Looks like he is in great shape.
2) Ian Terry. The geek. He is a chemical engineer. He is a bit in awe of the returnign players because he is a die-hard fan.
3) Jenn Arroyo. I love her. She is a Brooklynite, rocker, heavily-tattooed, Puerto Rican lesbian. She will be fun to watch and I hope she does well.
Janelle:
1) Wil "with one "L": He is the gay houseguest with some flare. He will be fun to watch, if only because of the hair.
2) Ashley Iocco. Well, she is odd. She says she is a "mobile spray tanner." She is smart in her eyes, because she graduated from a Big Ten school. She claims to like nerds.
3) Joe Arvin. Seems to be the old guy. He is over 40, so he is an old fart like me. He is a cook and seems a bit taken back by the houseguests.
Dan.
1) Kara Monaco. She is pretty and athletic, which Big Brother loves. I bet she will rock the bikini. Otherwise, don;t know much about her.
2) Danielle Murphree. the pretty southern nurse who said she was a kindergarten teacher because she wants them to see her as naive. I loved when she said she has never seen someone like Jenn before.
3) Jodi Rollins. she was the old girl and the black houseguest, but she got the boot. I understand the decision. She had a hard time in the first challenge. Sad to see her go quick. I hope she comes back.
Of course Julie Chen is back. She looks as dumb as ever. Britney's team won and she got to pick the first HOH. She picked Willie Hantz. I am curious to see if he comes out as Russell's brother, because there might be picks of him in the HOH room. So far I like it.

but I think it's been cancelled. Willie is a nice enough guy (very Christian) but doesn't seem to have much common sense. He seems way too old to be on BB! Isn't he Brandon's dad?
Boogie is still around??? Doesn't he own a restaurant with Dr. Will?
