Lincoln Lawyer season two, not nearly as good as season one.

My main gripe is that he hardly had any cases this season. He's a lawyer FFS! That's why I watch the show, to see legal cases, not his private life. I thought they wrote his first wife out last season & I was glad to see her go, but she's back. There were way too many scenes with her & their kid. The big gripe though, there were only two cases & one was minor & at the very beginning. In fact, there's a scene where Mickey is telling Lorna to hand off a bunch of his cases. Big mistake writers.

IIRC, Connelly was actually involved in the first season but the second season is only based on his novels.

I agree. Additionally the acting is underwhelming. Just my take though. Nt Ninga Aug 2023 #1

and the characters unique except for the ex-wife and kid. I was hoping they would’ve gone, sadly not.

I saw the movie with Mathew McConaughey and I seem to recall enjoying it. Having never read the book I couldn't compare the film to the movie, though, so perhaps one is better than the other. Unfortunately, since it's on Netflix, I guess I don't get to see the tv show.
