Has anyone seen those TV ads for Lume vaginal and anal odor?

Is it just me or are they sort of gross to be on TV. I don't like hearing about crotch and ass odor while I am watching Rachel Maddow or Chris Hayes or just about anything on MS NBC and I am now being inundated with more of these ads on this station and others.

I just started to complain to the company and saw there were others who were equally disgusted. Not only are the ads awful but the product has gotten tons of complaints but they are still continuing with business as usual.

And Lume ads are not nearly as disgusting as actual vaginal and anal odor. People correcting that problem with Lume is a good thing.

But I'm weary of corporations creating problems for us to feel insecure about for the express purpose to sell us a solution to said problem. Humans come with smells. What really reeks is the profit motive, IMO. Think about kids going through puberty, which is difficult enough without worrying about potential butt-crack odor. Not to mention the barrage of ads selling "intimate area" hair removal products.

I have never seen those ads. They have run a billion pharmaceutical ones for "Skyrizi", "Ozempic", "Biktarvy", and "Rinvoq" along with those for supplements like "Prevagen". They usually fill it out with insurance ones for Allstate, Liberty Mutual, and Progressive.

you should probably see a medical practitioner.

And for heavens sake, rectums are supposed to smell. Hello? Poop come out there. People will buy anything.

14. Body odor is not caused by faulty hygiene
Tue Apr 4, 2023, 08:59 AM

it's caused by bacteria/fungi that flourish in damp, dark parts of the body that are difficult to keep dry (from normal sweat). Some people sweat more than others.

Do you use an underarm deodorant? Do you find washing your pits sufficient to keep them odor-free?

Same thing.

Dryness, not cleanliness.

I assume everyone washes. The underarm area is home to sweat glands--just like the butt crack area and the folds of the vagina (if you are healthy)--and washing those areas clean several times a day will not stop the sweat. The decaying bacteria/fungi in dark, moist areas of your body will smell bad without deodorant.

This is an important issue because even if your nethers don't have an odor (and maybe you should see a doctor about that; there might be something wrong with your sweat glands), other people, especially women, are conscious of their body odor and traditionally have used baby powder to take care of it Baby powder is absorbent and smells good.

It also causes ovarian cancer and mesothelioma. Women need an alternative to baby powder, and I am glad to see something non-carcinogenic on the market.

penis ads. The ad on Progressive xm about Navage is another that turns my stomach. When shopping for insurance
a couple years ago I turned down the Liberty offer just because of their f---g ads.

showing their original, super gross commercial since I have seen more "toned down" ones lately but I was wrong. They are still showing them and often twice in a row (making me even more angry). I complained to the company a few times and out turns out I was not alone. Apparently they are hated by tons of people (I read replies on Reddit and You Tube). I don't know why a company would think that running really offensive ads back to back wouldn't annoy most people. Yuk!
