I dvr'd it and will probably watch it tonight. I've been waiting a long time for this one, hope it's good!
Here is what I wrote about it back on May 11th and I had already been waiting a loooong time before then:
I've read the book series and loved them.
The frosting on the cake was when they cast Lou Diamond Phillips cause I've always liked him.

(103,856 posts)It's pretty formulaic, but the characters seem interesting, and some were not shown in Ep 1, so I'll watch a few more times to see if I like it a lot.

see dinosaur bones in Wyoming someday.
I wonder if they will do an episode on finding fossils and all the intrigue that follows.

I'm willing to stick with it for 4 or 5 episodes before I pass my final judgment. I would almost bet that it will get better!
