"The Monkees" is back on MeTV.

The noon to 2 p.m. Sunday time slot had for a long time been held by "The Brady Bunch." That went away, and it was replaced by ... something. I turned on MeTV yesterday, and "The Monkees" was on.

Rose Marie was the guest star in one of yesterday's episodes. The song in that episode had one lyric that I greatly suspect was changed for television.

With a musical guest. Once it was Tim Buckley, amazing.

2. We are all getting old,

Only one Monkee left. I have met Mickey Dolenz, nice, funny guy. A friend of mine married his daughter Ami.

3. LOL I saw that!

I have a little apartment attached to the tack room on my horse barn. My barn kitty likes to stay in after eating some days and I make him stay in at night so I leave the TV on so he "does not get lonely" when I am not there. (I am such a push over) I walked into the living quarters to check his water and lo and behold there was Peter Tork bouncing around on something....the the rest of them except Davy, I did not see Davy. I was tickled to death to see them, when I was in Jr. High they were the absolute deal.

4. I went through high school

with Peter Tork's cousin. Sadly, he died just last year. He was just as talented as Peter was! Truly, great losses, all of the Monkees that we've lost, and my friend, Chris, too...
