I finally watched another episode live this season, and I loved last night's episode. Sarah is playing an incredible game. She took out one of the most annoying people in the majority alliance, which gives her cover, but also lets her control a lot. She can tell Troyzan, Sierra and Culpepper that she is still with them, but did not want Debbie around anymore since she was throwing her under the bus. If she takes out one of the other 5 next week, like Andrea, she can cement her place in power. I really like her game, and think that was the kind of move that wows players come final tribal. Its hard to make a game changing move without pissing off too many people. If she keeps picking off her biggest threats, she will be fine. I just hope eventually she ousts Culpepper, because I do not like him and he has played the best game so far and is in position to win. Plus, he is getting a winner's edit up until last night, and even a little of last night's game. I would have ousted him last night, but I understand why Sarah did what she did.

(42,759 posts)She didn't do it to make points but because it was the right thing to do.
And I'm glad to see Cochran's protegee was voted out. I don't think Zeke
is long for this game. And they are right about Mikela being difficult. She
could go down to the final four because no one likes her.

(16,104 posts)She definitely changed her game, although she still rubs everyone the wrong way. Strong women usually do (see 2016 presidential election ).
Michaela's remarkable strength in the water games, historically known as kryptonite for black contestants - watch Cirie last night - had to have been such a concession to her power and competitiveness, having her sit it out.
We know she is a forceful strategist, but if Michaela can win a few immunity challenges and get near the end, she can control this game.

(4,851 posts)And it will win her points. Her talk at tribal last night about it, certainly let everyone know what a good person she is, regardless of the game. Things like that pay huge in this game. Most don;t want to see a jerk win when there is another good player to consider, who is also a good person.

(4,851 posts)All look like the "winner" edit so far. When Sierra said that it would be Sarah, her and Debby in the final 3, I thought it was a clear sign one was going home last night. I love the edits on this show.

(16,334 posts)well, it was inevitable. She obviously has not watched enough of Survivor to know that bragging about a strong alliance is the kiss of death. Even your own alliance will turn against you.
Maybe it's the way they edited this, but she appears to be NOT a people person. She acts like she knows everything about everything, as though THAT will impress people but all it does is make them roll their eyes and not want her around. Seems she was the same way the last time she played. She was an expert in her mind only.

(42,759 posts)She called herself the Queen and said she would see to it anyone who bucked her would be voted off. Overconfidence can work against the players in this game. So far Sarah has played a good game, staying under the radar.
I think Cirie is pretty good at it, too.

one wants to go to the final jury with a likable player.
