It was a fun contest to run. I hope everyone enjoyed it.

In retrospect, I think I would reduce the polling time to 48 hours, as very few votes were cast in the final 24 hours of 72.

I really enjoyed the glimpse of the world just outside our doors.

3. I was a little disappointed that the contest didn't fill up.

I thought the theme was conducive to maximum participation but it still didn't "sell out". I'm not sure why, but it seems like the submissions used to be more active.

I tried cross promoting in GD, Meta, and The Lounge, and I think we got some fresh participants. Maybe I missed some other groups?

so I think it might happen less.
