(5,113 posts)small fish tank 1/2 full of water. black towel along the back of the tank
using my nikon and the CLS (which im just learning how to use) I set the on camera flash for commander mode and my sb600 as the slave. I put the sb600 above the tank to the left pointing down. the flash was wrapped in a ziplock to protect it from splashes
i pointed the camera toward the tank. using a remote i took the shot as the vegtable hit the water. I did it with all the lights in the house off. I prefocused on the middle of the tank and then used manual focus. I had to edit in aperture to get rid of glare and the reflection of the on camera flash.

(22,380 posts)I already made a note of it.
Fabulous. And I agree with whoever said the last one is the most spectacular one.
Thanks for telling how you did this.

(27,445 posts)but my favorite is the last one of the squash. It really captures the descent into the water. Very inspiring!
