I was so fortunate to secure a ticket

to hear Mrs. Obama speak on Friday afternoon. Here are a few photos that I took. Taking photos was extremely challenging because of the crowd, we were jam-packed inside a gym. But I would not have missed it for the world. Mrs. Obama gave a sincere, from the heart speech, and everyone just adored her.

Yes, we truly love her in this area!

Russ Feingold is still so admired here, although he has stepped out of being an elected official. I hope it's just temporary. In addition to teaching at Marquette University (and I'm sure doing many other things) he's visiting professor at Lawrence University.

Mrs. Obama who gave a most moving speech.

When Mrs. Obama finished her wonderful, moving speech she did not just bail out to go elsewhere. She walked through the crowds, greeting people, chatting! What a gracious lady!

Has there been a time in recent history when we haven't liked the First Lady better than the President? Love her!

Great photos, and so glad you got to go.
