Do you mind if I ask what settings you used? I was just gifted with my first DSLR and am trying to learn...it's quite a step up from my point and shoot but I love it

ISO 100, "cloudy" for the white balance, mid-range on the f stop (I think one was f/10, one was f/7). Exposure was mid-range, also, about 1/200, 1/160.

I often use the "P" setting so the camera kind of figures it all out for me.
