So we were sitting on the deck this afternoon and this guy decided to pilfer some of our blueberries. Have at! There are more than we can eat, and a bit tart at the moment.

(106 posts)We are in western NC, and usually don't start picking until mid July.
Crows got to them one year and cleaned us out! We had enough for one batch of pancakes that year.
We use bird netting now....

Another week, or two, and they will be a bit more sweet. Then again nothing a little half & half cream, and a sprinkle of sugar can't fix.
