Photo Journal: Good morning, iguanas!

I admit it. I'm fascinated watching wildlife. Right outside my patio here in Bonaire are two green iguanas who come out of the rocks every morning. This morning I was up and out on the patio--with my camera--waiting for them. Here are the results!

Iguana #1 sticks his head up out of his hole in the rocks to see if the coast is clear

Looks like it's ok to come out

Heading for the top rock

Surveying things--fitting nicely on this big rock (check the eyeball near the end of the tail)

Uh oh. Here comes Mr. Big (Iguana #2)

Better move my tail or he'll make trouble

Do you really have to record my humiliation?

Yawn. Being King of the Rock is tough work.

Waiting for the sun to come back out

and so beautifully photographed and your tale of happenings with them is fun to read. My favorite photo is the second to last. All great though.
Prepare for your birthday tomorrow. A new and better year is ahead, I am sure of it.
