Just kidding. There is an Uncertain, Texas. It is northeast of Marshal, near Karnack, on the western side of Caddo Lake. Caddo Lake is on the border between Texas and Louisiana (northwest of Shreveport).

Back in the riverboat days farmers would ship cotton and corn from the dock there. However there were no paved roads so if it had rained recently many roads were un passable so the Captains called it an uncertain stop because they couldn't be sure there would be cargo to pick up. The name stuck.
