Americana at the NE Ohio antique engine & tractor meet

Held every August at the Ashtabula County Antique Engine grounds, the venue features a vintage array of buildings from the beginnings of mechanized agriculture along with the hardware that pioneered. it's like being swept up by a tornado and landing in 1930.
So much there, but I kept it down to these nine.

I used to have a John Deere - A, which is what I think that big green machine is. 😁 pangaia Oct 2018 #1

For some reason my camera always ends up where there's smoke and noise. Whether the pics turn out well or not, there's always something unusual.

A lot of unusual machines and people there.

Henry Ford built more than 8 million Model Ts over 30 years. When they became obsolete, many farmers converted their cars into tractors called "doodlebugs".
