Pretty! All our garden died in the hard freeze and snow we've had the past two days and nights. Just a week ago I was enjoying fresh garden food. This week it will be in the high 60s for a few days then winter.

No snows or hard freezes here in SoCal.........sometimes I miss them.
It was very tasty and quite easy.
Salad dressing--I like Italian.
Sometimes, when I've cooked beets, I slice them into the salad too. They are wonderful!

By the time I sat down to dinner, I was quite hungry and that salad didn't stand a chance!
I'm glad you think it's pretty--I did too, and that's why I took the photo. 
I'm under strict doctor's orders to go easy on the salt! This salad needs none.
I do grind some fresh pepper on it before eating. That makes it perfect, for me!
I never get tired of making and eating them either!
I didn't use the flash, actually. Room light with my iPhone.
The salad's in a glass bowl, which is what we always use.
