(13,527 posts)swallowtail caterpillars. Weve had them on our curly leaf parsley. Actually thats why we plant it so hopefully they lay their eggs on it. We also have some asclepia for monarchs to lay eggs on and have had several caterpillars the last few weeks.

(60,074 posts)Monarchs seem to like Zinnia. The front of my townhouse is open, the back abuts a woods. The Black Swallowtail likes the wooded area.
