Did you see Jupiter, the really bright "star" to the right of the moon and a little lower? The Velveteen Ocelot Jul 2018 #4
Alas, no, I didn't. There were clouds starting to gather, so it might have been invisible. CaliforniaPeggy Jul 2018 #6

It started getting foggy/cloudy right after I got this, so I really lucked out.

I probably won't be doing much photography over the next few days--poetry workshop tomorrow, and on Monday, my husband has cataract surgery. So I will be a bit busy.

Ya never know, though! If I see something good, I probably won't be able to resist!

I'm glad you like it!

I hand held the camera and still managed to not shake it. Amazing!

I'm heading outside to look at it in a minute.

I am in awe of the night sky.

I grew up watching the Milky Way & Northern Lights & every one was always unique to the sky before it.

Always awe inspiring & memorable.

To the nightsky people

I'm glad my photo got you outside to see the moon and everything else. There is so much beauty and sometimes we just don't get there.

I never really know what's going to show up..........will it be clear or not and like that. Clouds are always welcome and last night they obliged me.
