the long, cold, dark of winter has finally broken and i've been able to get out and tromp about with the camera. things are still pretty rough for me but being able to get out of the house the last two weekends has really lifted my spirits. i know i'm not around anymore, but i still think of you guys often
decided to spend earth day at devils tower
the belle fourche river flowing past
that sculpture is the circle of sacred smoke. it was done by a japanese artist as part of a project of his to place sculptures at sacred places around the world
and yesterday took me to the badlands (almost got blown off the interstate on the way there) and it was breathtaking
and, of course, had to stop at wall drug on the way there
