but despite the fact that one can barley see the mountains, I still like the picture for a reason

It's a beautiful shot of the Smokies, it took me a bit to see the familiar ridges.
If you are still here, I hope you're having a really fine time in the US of A.

I was there for a visit. I am back to good old Germany 3 weeks already though. I had a good time visiting my friend in TN.

you are seriously invited! You know the area where I am well already, if I remember correctly.

(I'll be in Germany in August - and part of September, this time though I'm not coming to Frankfurt)
