My lens has been acting strange so I can't take macros right now. It's been raining a lot and there are so many opportunities with the fruit trees in bloom and... sigh.

That's a really nice picture.

that works best for me at present it more like a point and shoot (Nikon P510) which has a lot going on with a 42X optical zoom. It's dated now but was doing it for me until recently. I think it's a sensor. I have to check and see if I can get it do do what I want some other way, if not I'll have to use the older EOS and then I can use other attachments. I have a new friend who has all the lenses and attachments and has offered to loan them to me. I guess it's time to get serious about my photos again. The Nikon is lightweight and has lots of options at my fingertips so I like it better for that reason.

You can get extension tubes that connect to the AF and aperture.

BTW the image was cropped. I used a 60mm equivalent lens.
