Last year I bought a mixed bouquet for a centerpiece, and laid it on the table while I put away the groceries. When I went back to get them, there's mr tubby laying on the flowers and pulling out the petals for his cohort in crime, minnie me, to bat to the floor. They tore out chunks from every flower so my bouquet was a bit bedraggled, and those mean kitties hit those flowers again, so they didn't last too long.
