Snowy in the golden morning light

The day after the storm, we have that beautiful early morning sunlight. And 15 degrees (that feels like 5) here in Chapel Hill. I bundled up--took my camera--and went out with Snowy.

The first shot shows the hill across from us where I often photograph the deer coming through the neighborhood.

The second shot I liked for the light on Snowy and the trees.

Nice light. I noticed the dog is well camouflaged for the locale and conditions. alfredo Jan 2017 #1

Doesn't she look a bit like this cousin which was part of a pack I photographed at the Berlin Zoo three years ago?
