(1,514 posts)was right around St. Mary's Lake. It has that tiny little island in it (Goose Island, I believe) that looks like Wizard Island in Crater Lake.

(28,340 posts)We live on the west side, and this time of year you have to go all the way around the park because they're not done plowing the road yet.
We camped at St. Mary campground in the park. I know it looks so cold, but really it wasn't. It melted very quickly with a warm sun that morning and was a stunning day.
