Related: About this forumAre you out taking photos of Spring?
We will be taking submissions for the Spring Photo Contest, beginning the first of June.
To get everyone in the mood, I decided to take a walk around The Sisters' Garden here in Chapel Hill this morning,
and then a stroll around the Old Chapel Hill Cemetery which is adjacent to the neighborhood.
Here are a few shots to get you motivated!

(86,802 posts)one the ground. We have a different kind of "spring" up here at 7,000ft. I went out yesterday and saw lots of melt taking place but we still have a lot on the ground, no flowers peeking out or nuthin'. The trees and shrubs have some buds on them. Couple more weeks before we see sprouts.

(31,405 posts)The political climate has been so nasty here for the last 10 days with the passage of HB 2
that I felt like I had to do SOMETHING to record the beauty here--at least the natural beauty--
that exists in NC.

Our spring is pretty much gone. We've been having temps in the 80's and thunderstorms already.
